In my words

Hyrax 2.2 Predator Truck Tires 2 for F/R is a Rock Crawler tire first and a conversation starter second — the tread clears instead of packing.

The set runs 2.2" across, fitted front and rear. 2.2" this spec sits in the middle of the range, so it is the set I would buy first and judge the rest against.

Questions I get about this set

Which insert goes in?

Inserts are not included with this listing, so budget for a set. A closed-cell insert holds shape under load; an open-cell one lets the carcass work. Heavy cars and high-bite tracks want the firmer option.

How long will a set last?

On dirt I get a full race day from a soft compound and two or three from a medium. Carpet and astro are gentler on rubber and harder on pins.

Just buy them

Almost takes the fun out of it they’re that good. Lines I use to struggle with or have to try 10 different times, it goes up without issue. I installed them on my danchee ridgerock and used the stock foams instead of the ones that came with the tires. I found it gives them more squish for traction. Just buy them!

Super sticky tire

Cannot recommend enough, these tires completely changed my rig, my old line that I would struggle on has become an absolute breeze. I had to change everything up after this tire setup.

Made a huge difference.

These tires really grab. The tires plus the aluminum wheels, which add weight, turned make my crawler conquer much more than before. I would recommend these tires for any crawler. May need to add axle extenders to prevent rub.

Sticky Icky

BEST TIRES. These things are the real deal. Don’t hesitate on the purchase, you’ll be amazed at how awesome they are. They stick to everything!!! You’ll out crawl your buddies with their mediocre/knock off brands any day of the week, trust me.

Grippy tire. Tall tire. Wide tire. Genuine. Predator compound.

Big tire. Foam came with the tire. The foam isn't the softest and had to be trimmed very little to fit the beadlock but I wont remove any stars because I purchased the tires, not the foam. Very grippy and tire is as advertised. Genuine. Predator compound.
