Advice has limits
Everything we publish about compounds, springs, offsets and setup is general guidance written from our own testing. Your surface, your chassis and your driving are different. We cannot be responsible for a part that was fitted to a vehicle it was not listed for.
Paint, glue and solvents
Polycarbonate paint, aerosols and tire glue are chemicals. Work in a ventilated space, keep them away from skin and eyes, and keep them away from children. Cyanoacrylate tire glue bonds fingers as happily as rubber.
Running the car
A model car at speed is heavy enough to hurt someone. Run in a space you control, keep spectators behind you, disconnect the battery before working on the drivetrain and never spin the wheels with a hand near them.
Age
Many parts here are small, sharp or chemical. They are not toys, and the age guidance on the listing is there for a reason.
