In my words
I keep 1/10 Holcomb F/R 1.55" 12mm Crawler Bead-Loc Wheels 2 Black on the Rock Crawler shelf because the compound does the talking.
The set runs 1.55" across and the wheels take a 12mm hex, fitted front and rear. The point of a mid-range compound is predictability: it gives up grip slowly instead of all at once.
I link straight to the listing so the price you see is the price it sells for today.

Questions I get about this set
Which insert goes in?
Inserts are not included with this listing, so budget for a set. A closed-cell insert holds shape under load; an open-cell one lets the carcass work. Heavy cars and high-bite tracks want the firmer option.
How long will a set last?
On dirt I get a full race day from a soft compound and two or three from a medium. Carpet and astro are gentler on rubber and harder on pins.
