In my words

Hole Shot 3.0 2.2 M3 Buggy Rear Tires is the Buggy & Truggy rubber I reach for when the track is blue-groove tracks that have been swept into a hard shell.

The set is 3.0" in M3, fitted rear. A carcass this size wants the right insert far more than it wants a different compound.

I do not hold inventory — the button sends you to the listing, and it carries the current price.

What Pro-Line says about it

  • Latest Generation Race Tire Carcass for Unmatched Performance
  • Iconic Hole Shot Style Small, Square-lug Technology Throughout Tire
  • Long lasting Closed Cell Foam Included
  • Outer Pins are Angled to Resist Catching Ruts
  • Internal Webbing Reduces Tire Expansion under Acceleration

Questions I get about this set

Will these fit my hex?

Check the hex callout before anything else. This listing does not call out a hex, which usually means the tire ships unmounted. A tire that fits the rim will still rub if the offset is wrong, so measure your current wheel face-to-hub before you buy.

Do I need to glue these?

These are tires and wheels separately, so yes — bead glue is part of the job. Pro-Line tires want thin CA worked around the bead in quarters, not one bead of glue chased around the rim in a single pass.

Husband bought them

Husband bought these for one of his many RC cars. Why he used my account I don't know but he's a guy so here we are. All I can report is he hadn't bitched about them at all. So I guess that's good, especially for me. So I gave it 5 stars just for that alone. He runs on dirt and payment at super high speeds and does so every week so I guess he'd know what tires to buy. He's happy, so I'm happy.

Good traction while they last

Very quick to start shedding tread lugs on rough ground. Excellent traction for a short time, maybe better on the wet or less abrasive surfaces.

Hole shot M3 buggy! Woo!

They are what they claim to be. Hole shot M3 for racing buggies. Worked well on my track. Low wear compared to M4 compound my friends were running. We soak ours in simple green to soften them even more. The M4 is what most people like at my track, but I actually found I preferred the M3 as they had a bit more predictable slide and bite. Can't complain at under $30 and 2 day shipping either!
