In my words
Pomona Drag Spec 2.2 Black Slash Front is the Short Course & Desert rubber I reach for when grip is the only variable I can still change at the track.
The set runs 2.2" across, fitted front. The point of a mid-range compound is predictability: it gives up grip slowly instead of all at once.
Stock on small-batch sets moves quickly, so the listing is the honest source for what is left.

Questions I get about this set
Which insert goes in?
Inserts are not included with this listing, so budget for a set. A closed-cell insert holds shape under load; an open-cell one lets the carcass work. Heavy cars and high-bite tracks want the firmer option.
How long will a set last?
On dirt I get a full race day from a soft compound and two or three from a medium. Carpet and astro are gentler on rubber and harder on pins.
