In my words
I keep Hoosier G60 SC Dirt Oval Tires 2.2/3.0 on the Short Course & Desert shelf because it does not go off after four minutes.
The set runs 3.0" across. A carcass this size wants the right insert far more than it wants a different compound.
Sizes and colors come and go on this one; the listing shows what is actually in the box today.
What Pro-Line says about it
- White Hoosier Logos Proudly Displayed on Sidewall
- Molded Sidewall Compound Identifiers
- Exact Scale Detail
- Specifically Made for Dirt Oval
- Rounded Side Tread for Consistent Slide Action
Questions I get about this set
Do I need to glue these?
These are tires and wheels separately, so yes — bead glue is part of the job. Pro-Line tires want thin CA worked around the bead in quarters, not one bead of glue chased around the rim in a single pass.
Which insert goes in?
Inserts are not included with this listing, so budget for a set. A closed-cell insert holds shape under load; an open-cell one lets the carcass work. Heavy cars and high-bite tracks want the firmer option.
