Does it come painted?

No. Clear polycarbonate ships with a protective film on the outside and the overspray film inside, plus window masks. Paint goes on the inside surface.

Will the body posts line up?

The listing carries the full fitment table. Mounting holes are marked but not drilled on most shells, so trim to the line, test-fit on the chassis, then make holes one at a time.

Wash the inside well with warm soapy water.
Fits pretty close on a traxxas slash. The sides rub on the chasis side braces but other than that it fits perfect. If you use this for a monster slash you will want to get taller body mount posts.
